Tuscarora History of the beaded felt frame ornament:
Approximately 1989, staff of the Tuscarora Nation Elementry School came up with the idea to make a Christmas Tree with a small beaded frame ornament for each student. My paternal Grandma Marlene and maternal Grandma Elaine were part of the group that came up with the unique idea and worked together to make it a reality. Over 30 years later, the tradition at the school continues!
