Description
These incredible woven earrings are made by Akwesasne Mohawk Artist, Robin Lazore. Robin has been weaving baskets for over 35 years. She began learning in her teens from elders Mary Jacko and Irene McDonald. Today, Robin passes on the techniques to younger generations. She takes great pride in her work and is proud of all Mohawk basket makers who continue this art-form that the Mohawk Nation is well known for. We are beyond excited to share these earrings with our customers.
Each piece is a little unique and measures around 1" x 2"
Made from locally sourced sweetgrass and split ash with leather backing.
