Description
One of the main principles of our culture is redemption. During his journey, the Peacemaker came across Tadadaho whose mind was evil and whose body was twisted. His hair was said to be made of snakes. In order to convert Tadadaho's thinking to the "Good Mind," the Peacemaker had to "comb the snakes from his hair." This piece symbolizes the act of removing those things from your mind which keep it clouded or twisted. The recipient of this piece will be reminded to keep a "Good Mind" each time he/she sees it hanging there.
