Description
Stay Rez-Fabulous with these wooden beauties! These earrings pay homage to Skarù:ręʔ Kanęhakę:rat (Tuscarora White Corn). Corn is still a huge part of Tuscarora and Haudenosaunee Culture. It is still grown today and is used to make things like corn soup and corn bread. Every year there is a husking and braiding bee on the Tuscarora Nation where volunteers help remove the husk from the corn and braid the ears together into 4' - 5' braids. The braids are hung up to dry and to keep them from the critters.
